‘To learn another language is to have one more window from which to look at the world’ Chinese Proverb
At All Saints we want our children to be exposed to as wide a range of opportunities as possible. The United Kingdom is a multi-cultural society and we have a duty to provide our children with an understanding of other cultures and languages. Learning a language enriches the curriculum and provides enjoyment and challenge for our children, helping create enthusiastic leaners who have a positive attitude to language learning as a strong basis for their transition into Key Stage 3 and throughout life.
At All saints we teach French to children in Key Stage 2, using the Language Angles scheme that provides up to date materials as well as staff training and support.
