As part of our pastoral support for all our children, we have a ‘worry box’ located in our library area. The Worry Box is a simple, yet powerful, strategy of acknowledging and coping with worry and anxiety. It enables children to have an outlet if they do not feel confident enough to directly approach an adult for help. Any child in school can write a note and place it in the box. The box is emptied daily by our Inclusion Teaching Assistant, who will then offer the appropriate support to the child.
Children can also raise a worry via our website under their respective year and complete the Worry box form that will come through to the Inclusion lead.
As a parent if you would like to raise a worry please complete the form below.
